The Austin Freestone Ranch by ABOVE Vacation Residences is a family-owned working ranch on over 100 acres- a spacious property of ranch-style luxury with the peace of the Texas Hill Country near local wineries, breweries, distilleries and wedding venues. Enjoy three guest wings and wheelchair accessibility, including ramp in the pool. Game casita features glass garage doors for a multi-seasonal room with pool table, ping pong, foosball, 2 TVs and a bar area. Pet-friendly with Owner approval. This property is regularly set for 20 guests, but, with homeowner approval, can host as many as 25 guests. A large group fee may apply. Inquire with our sales team about hosting a large family gathering or corporate retreat onsite. Event fees may apply. All guests must be pre-approved to rent this estate. A full guest list will be required.

Cleaning Standards: We follow strict CDC/VRMA disinfecting protocols, focusing on high-touch areas.
Disclaimer: Room configurations, decor, and contents may have changed since photos were taken. Hot tub heating is complimentary and managed by request with your house manager. Pools can be heated by request and with approval- fee varies from $350-500 for 3 days depending on season.

We rented this lovely estate for my daughter's family wedding in June. We had the wedding and dinner outside and then moved inside as the night progressed. The immediate family was all able to stay at the home which was a bonus! Every room is spectacular, as is the property.

Our recent friends trip at Freestone Ranch, booked through Above Vacation Rentals, was absolutely incredible. With a group of 19 friends from across the country, we were looking for a perfect getaway, and Freestone Ranch in the Hill Country outside Austin, TX, exceeded all expectations.
Sam, the property concierge, was amazing. She helped us with preplanning and provided all the necessary details to ensure a flawless weekend. On-site, Dale, the property manager, made sure everything ran smoothly, from food delivery to amenities. The house, only 2 years old, was in great shape with no significant wear and tear. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved the hot tub, pool, lawn games, pool table, ping pong, and having a private bartender. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
Having worked with other property managers in the past, Above was one of the best!

With a little dirt in on our boots and incredible memories in our minds, we reluctantly returned home after one of the best vacations we have ever taken! This family ranch is everything and more. Beautiful views, clean and well decorated home, and plenty to do. We had ropin' lessons by Chris and he even showed us around the ranch! We got to feed the longhorns and learn the history of the ranch. James was our house manager and he brought us a wonderful Mexican dinner with a full margarita bar set up. I will be taking the family back to this incredible destination.
Everything was wonderful! Perfect for our family gathering. Everything as described, and then some! Very clean and management group was excellent. The place was so great, we did not leave the property - pool, games, stargazing. Highly recommend
